Last week, Prism’s President, David Reaves lead a NASSCO Inspector Training (ITCP) class in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Those in attendance ranged from inspectors to engineers.
NASSCO’s ITCP is a standard national training and certification program that provides field construction professionals (i.e. consulting and municipal engineers, contractors) with comprehensive learning and tools to understand and inspect trenchless pipeline renewal technology. NASSCO currently offers this program for Cured In Place Pipe and Manhole Rehabilitation.
Attendees who successfully completed the training received 1.35 Continuing Education Units and a certificate. They also received a copy of the Trenchless Assessment Guide for Rehabilitation (TAG-R), an interactive software program that allows the engineer and inspector to select applicable technologies for different project conditions.
